Recently G7Eleven was asked to provide VoIP call services to a brand new development located at the Point Village in Dublin.
The Gibson Hotel has a fully managed seventy five wireless access point deployment complimenting a three hundred cabled guest and conference network facility.
It has the most modern technology system of any hotel in Ireland and easily boasts one of the fasted Internet connections of any hotel in Europe.
G7Eleven needed to interface with the Hotels PBX and provide high quality voice and data services. This was easily done by implementing a SIP trunk card into the Tadiran PBX that was being fitted to the hotel. Once this was done G7Eleven provided a SIP trunk and one hundred easy to remember Irish geographic numbers for the new hotel.
“To power all of the communications in the Gibson we introduced a 100Mb fibre connection directly into our Class 5 Data Centre Facility in Kilcarbery and peered the hotel connection with INEX and Cogent delivering domestic and international connectivity at extremely competitive rates.” says Shane Hartigan from G7Eleven.
The end result is the guests enjoy unbelievable speeds throughout the Hotel and G7Eleven has delivered savings to the hotel without the need for any telephone line rentals or leased lines for the front of house management systems, visa machines and lift lines are a thing of the past and this coupled with great VoIP phone call rates from G7Eleven will make this investment worth while for the new hotel management.
